tWO CARS IN COLUSION Slight injuries were suffered toy a man naified Ainsley, when a car in Whieh He Was a passefiger wai struck by afidthei car on the Fernhill road, near th© Hastings Hospital, last night abbut 7 6'cloek. Both cars received slight damage. ' The Car in whidh Mr. Ainsley w&8** passenger Was being driven by Mr. Wall&Ce Dhrimpton, of Matapiro, and was proeeeding past the hospital, when Mr. Shriittpton saw a lorry approaching him, He put out his hafid for the lorry to stop as he wished to speak to the driver and also signalled his ifiteniiofi to Stop. Mr. P. d. Parker, of Rissington, who was fellewitig Mr. Shrimpton's ear, ap» parently failed to notice that the first car was drawittg Up, and crashed into the back of it. Mr. Ainsley received a ©ut on th© head from broken glass, but, after reeeiving medical attention at the hospital, he was allowed to prodeed.
