Semple, will in all pfbbability visit Hawke's Bay eaiiy in March, for the purpose oi giving consideration to mattefs affecting the interests of the Hawke's Bay County. Some time ago Mr. Semlpe promised the Hawke^s Bay County Council that he would try and pay the district a visit, and now the county cierk, Mr. W. J. O'Colmeii, has received a letter from him to the effeet that he will endeavour to come to Napier early in March. Various items are to receive the Minister 's consideration, the three iiiain bfies being the question of makittg the Napief-Tailiape fo&u a Inain highway ,the possibilitidS of proviciifig settlers with a proper bridge at Marshall's Ci'Ossiiig, Eskdale disti'iet, and the iuattef bf pfeventiflg flooding of the Ohiwia stream past Ferfihili.
