One of the largest finds of ancient silver coins yet disCovered in Sweaen has just been reported from the island of Gotland, so rich in such discoveries. It consists of some 3000 coins, mostly of Arabic origin. A couple of lads were playing about a gravel hole, when one of them climbed the edge of the hole. The edge gave way and the boy t'ell to the bottom in a oiiniature landslide of gravel and silver. Closer investigation of the spot brought to light more coins, until nearly 3000 had been collected.
