WAIPAWA, This Day. Cliarged with liiterfering ,with the alarm at tho Waipawa Fire Station, G. S- Williams, Gisborne, was convicted and. fined £5 with costs 10/- by Mr J. Miiler, S.M., in tlie Waipawa Magistrato's Court yesterday. J. A. Dewhirst, Tikokino, for failing to pay instabnents of unemployment levy, was convieted and fined To/- with costs 12/-. The charge was brought on bohalf of the department by Mr T. G. Feilder.
