Mrs Corbet (Invercargill) won the women 's championship and A. Gibbs (Manawatu) won . the open championship. - ' In the women 's championship final Mrs Corbet took no chances, playing a steady and accurate .game. The final of the. open championship was witnessed by tKe largest gallery of the tournament. Gibbs' win was his seeond in succession.
