Messrs Cousins and Barnet, Wairoa, are visiting Lake Waikaremoana, -Mr and Mrs T. L. Haughton, Waiharara, North Auckland, who have been visiting the former's parents, Wairoa, are leaving to-morrow for Auckland via Napier and Taupo. Mrs Willoch, , Wairoa, leaves for Rotorua bv the scenic route to-mor-row. Mr F. S. Houghton, late of Wairoa, who left here some time ago for Waiharara, North Auckland, has again taken u pelectrical work at Dargaville. Dr. Raeburn Canipbell, Carterton, and grandson of the Rev. W. Raehurn Wairoa, is on a short visit to Wairoa, staying with his parents Mr and Mrs H. A. B-'gum. Mrs Munro and daughter, Napier, are spending a fortnight in Wairoa with Mrs W, Hart. Mr »nd Mrs Stewart Duff, Wellington, who have been visiting Mr and Mrs A. Duff, Waipiro1 Bay, passed througli Wairoa en route for their home. Mrs A. V. Beattie, who has been on a holiday visit to her parents, Mr and Alrs T. Browne, Lucknow street has returned to Hokitika. Mr and Mrs ArnokJ 1'erry junr., oi 2ZP radio station, Wairoa, have gone on a motor trip to Auckland Mr and Alrs E. W. Chisholni has returned to Waipawa from a hobda.v in the Wellington district Mr P G. Hutchin son, Manatowoe, Wisconsin, U-S.A., is visiting her sister Mrs F. A Kuig Whetukura Miss Betty Wilson, Makotuku has returned from Manakau, where sbe was the gue.st oi Mr and Mrs N MarLyn/ Consta1 f Bagge, Auckland, and Mr C. It. Bagge, Masterton, have been visiting Makotuku as the guests of their sister and brother-in-Jaw Mrs and Mr M. Carrutliers
