powered by a 4-horse power engine, a vehicle recently constructed by 'a Fi'ench inventor combines the features of an automobile, a mot©r boat and a submarine. The amphibian craft is said to attain a speed of 25 miles an hour on land, nine miles an hour on tho water and six miles an hour when submerged. All vertical underwater movements are controlled by fins operated from the watertight cabin, and fre?h air is sucked in through an air tube extending abov© the surface of the water.
