Waipukurau Union Prepares For Australian Visitors

WAlPUJvURAU, Jan. 27. An invitation was received by the . executive of the Hawke's Bay brancb of the Farmers' Union from tbe Tourist Department to Suggest a progrqmme of entertainment for the party of Australian farmers, who will arrive in Napier t>n Monday February 15, and leave again on February 17. It was agreed tbat the union's organisor should draw up a suitable programme and submit it to the, Department. * The meeting also decided to appoint a successor to Mr Gardiner, the present organiser, whose resignation takes effect at the end of this week. The new organiser bas not been definitely selected yet.
