~ Harvey, Fulton and Hui Harvey, Fulton and Hill report having held: "their weekly market sale in their mart, Russell street, Hastings, on Saturday last. There was a very large entry in all sections and also a very good attendance of the public for this time of the year. Bidding was keen, and practically the whole of the large entry was turned out sold. There wae a very heavy yarding of poultry, for which the demand again was very good. Prices are quoted as follow: — Poultry. — W.L\ pullets 3/- to 4/3, B.O. pullets 4/- to 5/-, B.O. cockerels 2/9 to 3/3, W.L. cockerels 1/9 to 2/-, smaller 9d to 1/6, ducks 4/- to 5/- pair, W.L. liens 1/8 to 2/-, B.O. hens 3/- to 3/3, R.I. hens 2/7 to 2/9, Minorca hens 2/-, 1 duck and ducklings 8/-, 6/-, canaries 8/-.
