WELLINGTON, Jan. 22. The second day of tho WeUiixgton Racing Olub's summe-r meetlng was field at Trentham to-day in ' fine but very windy weather. There was a record attendance and the track was good but on the slow side. The totalisator handled £76,291. There was no holiday date last year when the second ^ day's total was £27,987. An inquify was held into interference in the Nursery Handicap through horses running ahout, but it was found to be due to the high wind and no action was taken. Sunee then cleared away, giving Argentic a hopeless chanee. Scotland, Flood Tide, Lowenberg and Spiral finished almost in line. Won by a length and a-half; two. Flood Tide was fourth. Time, 2,23.
