Work on Timaru Airport Steady progress has been made in the draining and .levelling of the Timaru airport site — the £25,000 scheme being undertaken by the Public Works Department, to be completed by the end of August this year. There may be some increase on the £25,000 cost originally estimated, becau^e of increased rates of pay; but the progress of the work is well ahead of «cliedule.
