* Napier Meeting To-Morrow ADDITIONAL HANDICAPS % The Napier AmateUr Athlietic .tnd Cycling Club 's weekly club .nigbt will be held in McLean Park to-morrow (Thursdayj evening. The 'programme will be similar to that set .down for last, week, with tbe exception of a tbree mil-es flat handicap instead of two miles, and the addition of a senior high jump. In this latter event Don Chadwick, of the Aueklnd Athletie Club, and formerly of Napier, will be a competitor. Don has already cleared 6 feet at the Lovelock meeting held in the northern city earlier this season, and his. meeting with the local cbampipn, Eric Phillips, should prove one of the tit-bits of the . evening for Phillips is jumping in fine style at the pr-esent time. B. Longley, tbe Wellington College champion, will be running in the 1000 yards and the 120 yards sprint, and his presence will lend great interest to these events. In the^ 1000 yards he will be 'on the scratch mark. The cycling events will bring out all the leading competitors in the district. The high jump will commence at 7.15 p.m., the other events coming on after the field events. Following are the new handicaps; Three-miles run. — H. Kane ser, A. Hughes scr, B. Anderson 60 yds, S. Gollop 70, C. Wright 150, C. Taylor 150, ,C. Eddy 180, G. Hall 1S0, J. Double 300, I. Macdonald 330, L. Hatch 360, G. Bee 380, W. Timmo 400. Ahditional handicaps in the other events are: — 440 yards hurdles: A. C, Bird 5yds. 220 yards handicap: W. Fitzsimmons scr, R. Phillips 7ys, P. Begley 12, 1. Biclcerstaff 12, E. Shuker 15, V.- McCutcheon 16 A. C. Bird 16, G. Phillips 17, H. Sharples 18, G. Cox 18, D. Bntler 18, H. Husheer 18, B. Tucker 19, J. Rogers 19, A. Biggs 20. 120 yards handicap: A. C. Bird 10yds, R. Longley 10. 1000 yards handicap: R. Longley scr, G. Hall 50yds, W. Timmo 100yds.
