He plaeed him in a ttotor-ea* and set but for Taihape, hui the bOy died after only a mile of the journey had been covered. The vietim was a son of Mri, E. M. Lord, of Tatiranga-Tattpo# near T(M kaann, and was spending his school holidays at Mr. Steedman's hoeae.
