"IOLANTHE" FOR H.B.
Response to Popular Demand Residents of Hawke's Bay will after all have an opportunity of seeing the popular Musical Comedy "Iolanthe." Thfe setting for this production is now in Wellington and Messrs. J. C. Williamson, Ltd,, had had to announce that alterations in the initerary made it possible to bring/it tcj Hastings, in vew, however, of the widespread" and persistent requests from Hawke '• Bay people to be allowed to hear "Iolanthe" the management decided to send the set through for use in tf matiuee tf be held on Thursday after' noon. Considerable expense will be in' volvetl in making this trip, but tho management feels that this is justified in order to meet the numerous demands to have the piece played here. The seaeon of the company at the Hastings Munieipal Theatre will now be Wednesday evening "Lilac Time," Thursday afternoon at 2 o 'clock, "Iolanthe,'* rThursday evening "Paul Jones."
