SCENERY PRAISED

Our Own Correspondent.)

Waikaremoana's Beauty VISITORS' IMPRESSIONS

(From

WAIROA, Jan. 18. Praise for Waikaremoana's scenery was made by three Waikato visitors to Wairoa, Messrs F. Searle and E. Earle, Cambridge, and Mr R. Holt, Nelson. They arrived in Wairoa from Cambridge via the scenic route and later proceeded to Napier. They speak well of the road round the lake (still in the making), and consider that though it is, even now, in good condition for driving on, it will be ideal when the widening is completed. They are eharmed with the magnilicent scenery, iand the numerous waterfall, as well as tho lake itself.
