WAIPAWA, Jan. 18. Following the unsettled weather during the past few days thero was onLv a small attendanee at the Waipawa Bowling Club's green on Saturday afternoon. The green, although a trifle heavy, was fit for play, abd two fuh rinks were present. The games resulted as follow: — Kingston, Noell, Eddy, Critchley 16; Petheriek, Flctcher, Harker, Pattersou 16. ■Petheriek, Barrie, Davy, Jull 28Parkin, Jull, Wallace, Walker ?J Several games were played on the Waipawa bowling green over the week*>nd. The holders of the Brewer Buttons, Fletcher and Critchley, suceessfully staved off a challenge by Kenny and Davy, 16 to 9. Other games: — Angus, Noell, Patterson 22; Russell, Mclnosh, McKay 19. Kingstone, King 26; Rennett, Petheriek 23.
