£38 14/6 At Taradale Since the fund was opened this season the surn of £38 14/6 has been received from donations and by tbe sale of .health stanips by the Taradale Health Stamp Committee. This amount is short of that collected during last year by £2 '8/9. .Before the fund closes there is every prospect of this deficiency being collected or exceeded. Speeial mention must be made of the action of.Mr E. V. Howard in placing his decorative float at the committee 's disposal, and in addition the services of his staff and himself for the purpose of making a street collection on behalf of the Health Campaign. The funds were considerably augnrented by this effort. Mr Howard has been elected a member of the committee. By the sale of health stamps the Taradale postman collected £17 2/2 and half of this amount will be handod «y«r to tho o— Mwlttoo .
