(From Our Own Correspondent.) GENERAL. There was only a fair attendance at the Hall Committee’s euchre party held on Wednesday evening. The prizes were won by Mrs 3). 8. Richardson and Mr H. Sonthcombe. Pingpong attracted many players both before and after cards. After several weeks of poor attendance through sickness, the attendance at t lie Manutaln school is again normal. The children are at present practising for the fancy dress ball, which is to be held on Friday next. Two evening were held by the wrestling and boxing school this week. A punch ball lias been donated and will make a welcome addition to the club’s on ni nine lit. PERSONAL. There luis been little change in the condition of Mr E. Clark since the car accident on Tuesday night. The exact extent of his injuries is not at present known, hub he is reported to be progressing as well as can be expected. Mrs I). M. Jillett is at present in 'New Plymouth. Mrs Walford, who was the guest of, 1 Mrs D. S. Richardson for some weeks.l is now in Turakina.
