A locomotive driver was killed and another driver and guard were injured, one seriously, when aai early-morn-ing passenger express from ’Sheffield to Bristol ran into the rear of a mineral train between Wingfield and Ambengate, 14 miles from Derby. The express was being drawn by two engines wnd" both, overturned, . the driver of one" being pinned uiidereath. No passengers were injured, although several coaches were torn from their bogies 1 and tne line was ripped up for a considerable distance.
