LOWGARTH BRANCH MEETING The monthly meeting of the Lorwgarth Women’s Division of. the Farmers’ Union was 'held in the hall on Wednesday. ■ Mrs A,. A. Piper presided and welcomed two new members. Two delegates were appointed to attend the meeting of the Central Taranaki executive in Stratford. A buttonhole making competition was won by Mr,s. J. Kilbride with Mrs A. Rotten .second and Mrs F. Jones third. An amusing memory test 'was held la.tsir, the wlinner being Mrs Ricketts. Hostesses for the' afternoon were Mesdames Townsend and Ricketts.
