ASCOT ALEXANDRA STAKES BROWN JACK’S FIFTH WIN (United mess Association —By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) Received 2.30 p.m. to-day. LONDON, June 16. The Ascot races ended in a blaze of sunshine. A remarkable coincidence was that the King’s' horse Limelight and Sir Cunliffe Owen’s Concerto 1 and Mr Wer.nbeir’s Brown Ja,ok were all winners on the last day as in 1932. The King’s victory in the Hardwick Stakes was particularly popular. As His Maj'efety .said himself, it was a “good wind up to the week’s racing.” Brown Jack won the Alexandra, Stakes for the fifth time in succession, ridden by Steven Dionoghue. This is a record for the turf.
