ANSWER TO ULTIMATUM POLICY TO CONTINUE (By Teletrraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, June 17. Replying to the Cycling Council’s ultimatum, Mr W. J. Walter, a- leading member of the New Zealand! Cycling Federation, says it intends to constitute control of cash and amateur cycling in. the Doth ini ion despite the endeavours of a Wellington group to gain control. The federation’s policy was unshaken. The Cycling Council wajs now trying to upset a body which it h.ad been instrumental in forming. The federation would discuss the whole matter at a meeting on June 28.
