LEFT £20,000 IN BEQUESTS

Public bequests, ultimately involving about £20,000, are made under the will of the late Mr Frank Meadoweroft, for 10 years a member of the Wellington City Council. , After making provision for the members of the family the will provides that, subject to a certain life-interest, one-tenth of the residue of the estate shall bo held in perpetual trust to pay income as follows: Three parts to the Terrace Congregational Church, Wellington, for general purposes, provided at least one-third of the income shall be used to benefit the Sunday school of the church; two part® to the pastors’ provident fund of the Congregational Union of New Zealand; two parts- to the London Missionary Society for general purposes; two parts to the Wellington district of the Congregational Union of _ New Zealand for home mission work in. New Zealand; one part to the Society; for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animal®.
Subject to further life-interest®, the other nine-tenth® of the residue are to be held in trust to mv income for all time to the London Missionary Society 1 for general, mirposes. the bequest to be known a® the Meadoweroft bequest. The residue, subject to the bequests concerned, will be probably £20,000
