BOXING AT PATEA

TOURNEY ON MONDAY. Under tlie aegis of the Paten Boxing Association a. tourney will he held on Monday next in the Patea. Town Hall. Bouts have been arranged between a number of the best boxers in the district and several from Marton and Wanganui. The Taranaki boys will include Brosnan, V. Gordon, N. Martin, B. Anderson, B. Cooley, Tod Walker (Paten), Conway (Hawera), Finlay (Matapu), K. Reed and Thomas (Eltham), Rumhall (Tnriki), Chisholm and Isaacs (Opunake), Hass iff (2) and Bister (Ratapiko) and G. and R. Cuff (Rowan) A highly attractive display of boxing is confidently expected.
