CLOSURE IN NEW ZEALAND

(By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, June 15

The office of the American Trade Commisioner for New Zealand will he closed. Mr Julian Foster, the commissioner, and Mrs Foster, as well as Mr West, assistant trade commissioner, will leave New Zealand by the Mariposa on July 1. i The closing of the office is in pursuance of the United States Government policy of economy. The offices of the United States Department of Commerce, to which the trade commission is attached, will bo closed in most other cities of the world.
