The King hais awarded the bronze medal for gallantry' for saving life at sea to Mr'James William Scott, first mate of the mission steamer Southern Cross, for swimming ashore with a line despite a storm, darkness and sharks when the vessel was,wrecked on October 31, 1932, at Ametyum Island.
