LONDON, June 14. The King hais awarded the bronze medal for gallantry' for saving life at sea to Mr'James William Scott, first mate of the mission steamer Southern Cross, for swimming ashore with a line despite a storm, darkness and sharks when the vessel was,wrecked on October 31, 1932, at Ametyum Island.
