KAKARAMEA

EUCHRE AND DANCE

The usual weekly euchre and dance social was held in the Kakaramea Hall on Monday night. There was a very fair attendance. The winning lady player was Miss Ruby Presland, who drew the award following a tie with Miss L. 'Bourke and Mrs. Baker, each having six points out of eight games. Mr. N. Hodge won the men’s prize with six points.

PERSONAL

Mr. Charlie Lord left last week to spend a holiday in Auckland. Mr. and Mrs McAsey and family have left for New Plymouth and intend proceeding to AVellington, where they will spend three weeks’ holiday.
