SPIRIT OF OTTAWA PACTS
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) WHANG ABET, June 15. A largely attended meeting, addressed bv Mr. W. Goodfellow and Mr W. Grounds, last night passed a resolution demanding a Substantial reduction in the tariff against British goods to keep ‘faith with the spirit of the Ottawa Conference, and as being the only means of preventing the enforceI ment of the suggestion to restrict New £ Zealand dairy exports.
