AUCKLAND, Dee. 25. ,A box . factory: in Beaumont street, belonging to \V.'Casey, 'was destroyed by fire last night. The building, whieh was of corrugated iron; contained a good, deal of machinery, together ivith stock. . All was destroyed. The insurance was £5390 on the building and contents in the Ocean Office.

It is intended that the board will amalgamate the advertising functipng of the; publicity office and the tourist and railway departments in regard to overseas countries.
