PARK CLUB. The committee are anxious that progress should be made in the handicap events, ladies and men, and therefore notify that the remaining matches in the first round must be played by Alonday next or they will be scratched. There have been many close and interesting matches, in which good form was shown. So far. results are as follow: Ladies.—Airs Rudge beat Miss Rosewarne, Aliss Nairn beat Mi’s Hunt, Airs Davy beat Mrs Boden, Miss Johnson beat Airs Cross, Miss Roche beat Aliss Syme, Aliss MdClure beat Miss Saunders, Aliss Phin beat Mrs Goodwin, Airs Bigham beat Aliss Hoddinott, Mrs Dymond beat Miss Sheat, Aliss Reid beat Mrs Spragg. Alen.—Winfield beat Percv, Mallack won from Newton by default, Grant beat Brown, Taylor beat Crutch, Yearbury beat Thomson, Billows beat Bell, Rudge beat Whytcross, Kururangi heat Higgs.
The following are those remaining in the. first round: AlcFadyeri v. Carter. Wilson v. Ingham, Osborne v. Shepherd, Ebbett v. 'Sage, Dymond v. Alurch, Horner v. Gilbert.
