TARANAKI OILFIELDS.
COMPANY TO BE FORMED. WITH £150,000 CAPITAL. (by TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASBOCTATION. WELLINGTON, Dec. 4. Dr Clapp, who arrived in New Zealand a year ago and investigated the Taranaki oil district, has returned from an inspection of large areas of West and North-West Australia. His report on them is unfavourable, but a company is to be formed to develop the Taranaki fields, with a capital of £150,000.
