DRUNKEN MOTORIST IMPRISONED.
(BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION. CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 24. ‘‘A man like this is an absolute menace, and no one knows what might happen when he is in the street,” said Magistrate Widdowscn in sentencing Thomas Bridson (39) to fourteen days’ gaol for being; drunk in charge of a motor car. The police said the man went through crowded streets recklessly, and had a flask of whisky in his pocket.
