THE WEATHER.
The Government Meteorologist telegraphed that for the twenty-four hours from 9 a.m. to-day the indications are for variable and strong breezes, but northerly strong to gale at times, backin S by west to south. The weather will probably prove squally and changeable and cooler. Barometer rising soon. Seas heavy; tides good.
