ELTHAM.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) PLUNKET SOCIETY. The monthly meeting was held in the Plunket Rooms on Tuesday. Present : Mesdames Hawken (chair), Foord, Haden, Wanklyn, Ware, Drayton, Crump, Carson, McDonald and Walsh. Apologies were received from Mesdames Campbell, Woods, Bridger, Harrison and Weir. The nurse’s report for the month of October was read as follows: Visits to rooms, adults 82, infants 88, visits :to homes 43, new cases 11. _ A letter was received from Nurse Dix, apologising for not being present at the mothers’ tea.

Accounts for £3 12s 4d were passed for payment. _ Donations were received from Lady Carncross £2 and Mrs Wilson ss. The treasurer reported having - received a cheque for £l9 2s 9d from the secretary of the Magpie. Entertainers. ,lhe secretary was instructed to write and thank them.
