SUPPLY OF FLOUR.
- CASE AGAINST MILLERS. CROWN EVIDENCE CONTINUED. (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION. DUNEDIN, Oct. 30. The case in which the Crown claims a penalty of £SOO from the Crown Milling Co., Dunedin; Fleming and Co., Invercargill; the Atlas Roller Flour and Oatmeal Mill, Timaru; Wood Bi ■os., Christchurch; and Distributors, Ltd., Christchurch, was continued in the Supreme Court to-day. An injunction is also being aeked against the fotir companies prohibiting the continuation of the employment of Distributors, Ltd., as the" sole selling agent for flour, bran and pollard, and from entering into a similar agreement in future. A further injunction is being asked for against Distributors, Ltd., prohibiting’them from continuing to act as sole selling agent. Gavin Millar, a member of the firm of A. C. Millar, Ltd., stated that prior to the formation of Distributors, Ltd., there was no difficulty in getting the various northern brands, but difficulty arose after its formation. Silas Leslie Beer, manager for Helm and Dickson, of Riverton, storekeepers, stated that after Distributors, Ltd., started he had difficulty in getting flour. Six more Crown witnesses were examined, their evidence all being in the direction of showing that after Distributors. Ltd., was formed thev were compelled to take whatever brand of floor was sent to them. The Court adjourned till to-morrow morning.
