VETERAN OF THE LAW.
CROWN PROSECUTOR RESIGNS. (by TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION. . T , , TIMARU, Oct. 29. Mr J. \Y. White, Crown Prosecutor, has tendered his resignation after having occupied the position for 54 years. His unique service was appreciatively referred to .at the Supreme Court this morning, Mr Justice Adams eulogising the long and faithful services of the retiring veteran.
