SEARCH FOR ESCAPED PRISONERS. (by TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION. * TAUMARUNUI, Oct. 29. Latest reports show that the police have been unable to find anv trace of the prisoners Dale and Wigg“(referred to on page 5 under the heading “Prisoners Escape”)—who escaped from the prison camp at Waimarino on Monday. Search parties scoured the countryside all day yesterday, and are searching again to-day. It is surmised that the prisoners made in the direction of Tokaanu, and the parties are concentrating oh that area.
