BENEFIT FOR, MOUNTAIN HOUSE. The tournament organised by the New Plymouth Club for the' mountain house fund was held on the Waiwakaiho links on Monday. The entries for all’events were large, the competitors including players from Hawera, Stiatford, Waitara and Invercargill. The. hostel fund should benefit by about £l4 14s as a result of the day’s effort. Results: Four-ball Mixed Bogey. Mrs. Hill (17) and .K. Kirk (17), 8 up. Mrs. Anderson (2) and T. P. Anderson, 6 up.
