DEARER TEA. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT SYDNEY, Oct. 28. A number of wholesale tea houses advanced the price of tea by twopence per pound. It is understood that most, if not all, of the others will make a similar advance. The causes given for the increase are the higher prices ruling in the producing centres, the exchange rate, and the keener general demand. CABLE DUPLICATION. TO JOIN REBELS. (Eeceived Oct. 29, 11.15 a.m.) LONDON, Oct. 27, The Times ’ Tangier correspondent reports that certain Moroccan tribes, so far faithful to Spain, are on the point of joining the rebel cause.
