SENTENCES PASSED. • (by TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) ’ WELLINGTON, Sept. 18. Iwo .prisoners appeared before the Supreme Court for sentence this morning. Claude Charles Brinsley, on a charge.' of defrauding a business firm which/ had formerly employed him as business manager, was sentenced to reformative detention for. a period not exceeding two years. Norman Hugh Nicholson, for assault on a little girl at , Grey town, was sentenced to three years’ reformative detention.
