BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT . LONDON, Sept. 13. Ihe auctioning of a giant New Zealand cheese attracted a. large gathering at the Produce Exchange. There AA;as keen competition among the multiple shop companies. Bidding began at 112 s a CAvt and rapidly rose to 182 s, at which the cheese Avas knocked down to Mr. David Greig, owner of fortythree shops in London and suburbs.
