The team chosen for the opening match against Devon is virtually a test side, except that Cooke plays instead of Steele. (BY TELEGRAPH —PREBB ASSOCIATION.) AUCKLAND, Sept. 12. The following cablegram has been despatched by the president of the New Zealand (Rugby Union (Mr. H. Frost) to the president of the English Rugby Union: “Warmest greetings from New Zealand, with sincere wish that the present visit of the All Blacks will cement cordial relations and tend to promote the best interests of Rugby.” Mr. Frost also sent the following cable to the manager of the All “Gn the eye of the first match New Zealand unites in washing the team every success throughout the tour.”
