THE WEATHER.
The Government Ateteorologist telegraphed that for the twenty-four hours from 9 a.m. to-day the indications are for south-easterly winds, strong to gale. Wegther cloudy to overcast.. Heavy rain is to be expected, with rivers rising shortly. The barometer has a falling tendency, but rising”after about 20 hours. Sea heavy; tides high.
