At the Supreme Court, Augustus Gordon Roose was sentenced to six months in prison for absconding from his creditors to Australia. The hearing of a charge of indecent assault on a girl of eight years of age in a picture theatre, with alternative charges of common assault, against Angelo Constanti, the well-known Italian singer, is proceeding.
