NEW SCHOOL GRANT APPROVED. All- O. Haw ken, M.P., wired yesterday afternoon to the chairman of the Eltham School Committee (Mr I. J. Rridger) as follows: “Cabinet has approved the grant for the Eltham school of five class rooms and a dental clinic. Amount not disclosed on account of tender. ’’ Air Bridger has sent the following reply to Mr Hawken: ‘‘Many thanks for interest shown and attention given matter of securing new school for Eltham. Cabinet’s "decision much appreciated. New school will provide excellent conditions for teachers and scholars Please convey to Minister for Education our grateful thanks.”
