THEFT FROM DWELLINGS. (BY TKLEGHAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION ) PALMERSTON N., August 1. At the Police Court Thomas Hamilton, with several aliases, pleaded guilty, and W’as committed for sentence, to eight clnuges of theft of various articles from dwellings, including the hotel at Port Ahurm, houses at Bumiytiiorpe, Shannon, Levin, Tokomaru,* and Foxton. lhe dwellings were entered and the goods stolen while the owners were cijbsenfc.
