THE WEATHER.
The Government Meteorologist telegraphed that for the 24 hours from 9 a.m. to-day the indications are for freshening westerly winds, strong to gale. The. weather will probably prove squally and changeable, with rain probable- and barometer falling soon ; seas considerable; tides good.
