EXCESS OF EXPORTS. IMPORTS NEARLY ALL BRITISH. (BY TELEGRAPH—PREPS ASSOCIATION. - ) "VY ELLINGTON. July 29. During the six months ended June 30 the value of the Dominion's exports amounted to £33.293,366. and the imports were valued at £22,644,403. giving a favourable balance of £10,648.963. 1 lie exports were £2,500,000 greater than in the corresponding period of 1923. wool being the princina] factor in the increase. Butter decreased by £900,000 and cheese by £400.000. An increase of nearly £l.-500.000 in imports includes £1.705,511 for motor vehicles, practically £700,000 more than a year ago. Sixty ner cent, came from Canada.
Of the exports Britain took £26,731,764. the United States £1 .UP 681 and Germany £1,077.153. The imports from these countries were re£9o'l93 el ' V £n ’ 012-963 ’ -£3.674.643 and
