The conference on the agricultural co-operation of the Empire. at Wembley passed a resolution, on the motion of Sir James Allen, advocating the facilitation of more direct methods of bargaining between the co-operative producers and the consumers; also agricultural co-operatives in an endeavour to establish close inter-trade relations between consumers and wholesale societies.

The Canadian Chamber of Commerce pas_sed a. resolution that the time has arrived to take vigorous steps to consolidate the trade interests of the Empire, for which a conference of all associations and manufacturers in the Empire should be arranged.
