HYGIENIC CONDITIONS. (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION 1 WELLINGTON, July 23. n A deputation from the New Zealand h ederated Typographical Association waited on the Minister for Labour, the Hon. G. J. Anderson, urging that measures he taken to improve the hygienic conditions in the printing trade. It was desired that a conference of employers and employees be held with a. view to bringing about a standard set of conditions. The association recognised that they could not he brought in right away, and was prepared to wait two years or so in order to allow the present- evils to he remedied.
The Minister said he would study what had been done in New South "Wales and would have the whole matter investigated.
